The Biostatistics and Data Management Core (BDMC) of the Indiana University Cancer Center assumes statistical and data management responsibilities and associated administrative functions, education, and training. The core collaborates with investigators in the planning, design, development, and analysis of the full range of cancer research projects, including clinical trials, cancer control studies, behavioral research, and basic laboratory science. It participates in every level of research, from study planning and monitoring to data analysis and dissemination of results. The specific aims of the BDMC are to: 1) provide broad statistical and data management support to IUCC investigators; 2) conduct application-driven statistical methodological research; and 3) provide an educational resource to IUCC investigators.
