2009-2010 IUPUI Research Enterprise E-Newsletter Submission Guidelines

The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research (OVCR) publishes the RESEARCH ENTERPRISE to keep the academic community and the community at large informed about research activities, opportunities and development on the IUPUI campus. The following are submission guidelines.
Guidelines

• Articles may be submitted by faculty, administrators, and center/institute directors and/or co-director. Articles featuring undergraduate researchers and scholars may be submitted by faculty and/or students. Students submitting articles directly must copy a faculty member on the submission, as a sponsor.
• Articles should be 400 words or less, include a headline, the author and contact information.
• Copy should be submitted in Arial font and 12-point type.
• JPEG photos should accompany submitted articles and must include captions that clearly describe what action is taking place in the photos. Photos can be of a key person or activity/item that depicts what is presented in the article.
• Following the posted deadline for submission, the editor and key staff members will review submitted articles for possible inclusion in upcoming issues and may deem it necessary to edit any article selected to appear in the e-newsletter.
• Information about upcoming events may be included that have broad appeal. Event information must include name of event, a very brief description (100 words or less), date(s), time(s), and registration/contact information.
• Articles and photos must be e-mailed to emward@iupui.edu by no later than 5:00 pm on the posted submission deadline.
• Send questions, comments, suggestions or corrections to emward@iupui.edu.

2009-2010 Submission and Publication Deadlines
Stories and photos should be submitted no later than 5:00 pm on the posted submission deadline. Deadlines are subject to change to a later release dated (without prior notice).
